{"id":85364,"date":"2020-12-23T18:39:38","date_gmt":"2020-12-24T02:39:38","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/marijuana-anonymous.org\/?page_id=85364"},"modified":"2025-10-22T10:11:08","modified_gmt":"2025-10-22T17:11:08","slug":"president","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/marijuana-anonymous.org\/service\/world-service\/president\/","title":{"rendered":"President Trustee"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-marijuana-anonymous-world-services\">Marijuana Anonymous World Services<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-president-trustee-description\">President Trustee Description<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Act as the first point of contact for operational concerns.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Schedule regular Trustee Meetings, draft and distribute an agenda 7 days prior to each meeting.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Chair Trustee meetings, or ensure a suitable Chairperson is available.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Organize Conference Agenda Committee, and ensure an Agenda is drafted 90 days prior to the Conference.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Following each MA World Service business Conference:\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Prepare, assign to the appropriate Trustee, and distribute the Conference Action Item list.\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Follow up to ensure tasks are completed.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Ensure notification of Host Districts\/Regions for future Conferences and Conventions, as decided at the Conference.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Circulate the prior year\u2019s Trustee roster and (create) a new Trustee roster to the current Trustees\/Alternate Trustees.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Review Conference Minutes for accuracy, and approve distribution to the fellowship.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Include the Conference Trustee\u2019s Board Meeting Minutes for approval at the first Board of Trustee meeting.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Service Sponsor, encourage and support all members to give their best effort in service to MA.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Annually review the Special Worker\u2019s job descriptions, and adjust if needed.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Participate in the Service Inventory Group (P&amp;P Subcommittee) to assist in facilitating internal dispute resolution if they arise.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Act as liaison (along with Literature Trustee) to <a href=\"https:\/\/anlp12.org\">A New Leaf Publications<\/a>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Take reasonable action to ensure World Services\u2019 commitments are met and proactively plan for MA\u2019s growth.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-contact-president-ma12-org\"><strong>Contact:<\/strong> <a href=\"mailto:President@MA12.org\">President@MA12.org<\/a><\/h4>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Marijuana Anonymous World Services President Trustee Description Contact: President@MA12.org<\/p>\n","protected":false},"author":22,"featured_media":0,"parent":34547,"menu_order":11,"comment_status":"closed","ping_status":"closed","template":"","meta":{"footnotes":""},"class_list":["post-85364","page","type-page","status-publish","hentry"],"yoast_head":"<!-- This site is optimized with the Yoast SEO Premium plugin v26.8 (Yoast SEO v26.9) -
